Management

Dr. Trevor P. Castor, Founder, Chairman, President and CEO has 25 years of diversified business experience ranging from management, marketing and finance to technology and business development in the energy, environmental and biopharmaceutical industries. He has had bottom-line experience with several high tech start-ups. Dr. Castor graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto, Canada. He studied Business Administration at St. Mary's College, Brooklyn, NY, and Management, Marketing and Finance at the Harvard University Extension Program, Cambridge, MA. He is the primary author of Aphios’ 29-issued U.S. and international patents and 15-pending patents. Dr. Castor has collaborated with and consulted to several multinational companies including Baxter Healthcare, Bayer AG, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Eli Lilly, General Electric, Novartis AG and the Gillette Company, and financial institutions such as the Bank of New England and the New England Life Insurance Company.

Mr. Jerry Goldberg, Vice President, Marketing & Sales, has founded several businesses including a technical sales corporation that operated as a manufacturers representative. Mr. Goldberg headed the sales efforts in his corporation for 18 years selling sophisticated microprocessor-based electronic data acquisition systems. Mr. Goldberg received a BS in Physics from Drexel University and an MS from Temple University.

Mr. Joseph F. Faris, CPA, Chief Financial Officer, has served as a transitional hands-on CFO/Controller to several different industries on a time sharing/consulting basis over the last 25 years. Some of his clients include Hemagen Diagnostics, Inc., Medical Research, Inc., T Cell Sciences, Inc., Innovative Polymers, Inc. and Neurogen, Inc. He has a B.S. in Accounting, cum laude, from Northeastern University, Boston, MA.

Ms. Carolyn K. Knott, CPA, Accountant Manager, has 20 years of financial accounting experience. She previously worked as an auditor and supervisor for PriceWaterhouseCoopers, PC, Boston, MA, an accounting manager for Powercube Corporation, and as a financial analyst and international accountant for Burroughs Corporation. She has a Masters in the Science and Principles of Accounting from Aalsh College, Troy, Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Germanic Languages and Literature for the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Ms. Carole W. Tomko, J.D., is President, Customized Organizational Solutions (COS), LLC, Columbus, Ohio. Ms. Tomko is a licensed attorney with a career spanning twenty years in rapidly growing dynamic corporations. Most recently, Ms. Tomko held the position of Corporate Vice President, Human Resources for Cardinal Health, Inc. During her tenure, Cardinal Health grew from a small pharmaceutical distributor with 900 domestic employees and 800 million dollars in sales to the world’s largest integrated supplier of healthcare product services with 37,000 employees in 19 countries and 24 billion dollars in sales.

Mr. Anthony Janiuk, J.D., RpH is a Corporate Attorney for Waters Corporation, Millford, MA where he was entrusted to establish a law office for this public company and in which he is involved in the maintenance of corporate records, contracts, litigation, planning, intellectual property issues and acquisitions. He was previously Of Counsel for Wolf, Greenfield & Sacks, P.C., Boston, MA, Chief Legal Counsel of Gene Trak Systems Corporation, Framingham, MA, Patent Attorney for Amoco Corporation, Chicago, IL and Patent Attorney for Emrich and Dithmar, Chicago, IL. Mr. Janiuk received his B.Sc. in Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI and his Jurus Doctor from DePaul University College of Law, Chicago, IL.
